Default Sherburne-3/8/14

figured I'd save some of you some time and post a report. Fishing was extremely slow today, I have to believe its from constantly fluctuating water as it was bubbly in not areas and extremely black in others. We had a tough day but managed 7 bass and a choupique flipping various baits.

Those are chunky fish. Big alabama always had some hard hitting fat fish. One of my favorite places to go still

Did better than me...went to lake martin yesterday and could not get a bite on anything but a chatterbait. Caught 1 around 3 pounds and 2 dinks. Think the water needs to warm more but who knows.

Not asking for anything specific, but where is Sherburne located? I've never heard of it.

Just east of the Atchafalaya river. Cross the bridge in Krotz Springs and take a right.

thats it! Go about 10 minutes I guess down the gravel road and you'll come across big alabama, and then little alabama a tad further down. The road to little is a little hidden, but they have/used to have a sign. I haven't looked for the sign in a while, so don't remember.
