I love following this thing, the technology they have now makes the coverage awesome and very informative.

I seen a pic from yesterday where a fisherman drew "I Love The Classic" in the snow on the deck of his boat.

It's cold over there right now....... http://www.accuweather.com/en/us/tul...orecast/350144

I like to watch it too, the way they come in and fish a few days and whoop all the locals says something about how good these guys are, true pros.

When the classic came to NOLA they had a local guy who did media Day With Roland Martin. He said Roland left the dock at Bayou Segnette and Ran all the way to Venice and never let off the throttle, he did 70 there and back. They had to stop to get gas, that was his only break. Never stopped to drink, never stopped for a snack, it was balls to the walls the whole time.

They are very, very good and I'm not taking anything away from them but they get a lot of local help. They would figure it out on their own but it would take them a little longer to do it

Exactly! That's what separates them from most of us

Technology has come a long long way. Yes I gave advise a few times. but when thats what you do for a living..... you know what to do. Each month in each area of the country they have a general idea where fish are staging, pattern, etc. The online maps are amazing with the detail they have. They have a game plan for whatever weather they are going to face 6 months before practice. And lakemaster and navionic chips give out alot of secrets. I been fishing Toledo Bend for a few years now. I finally found a submerged bridge. Well when the Elites went to Toledo last year they were all over my bridge! I asked the pro that I know about how ppl knew about my bridge. He said "oh its on Lakemaster"!

Anyone ever fish and put 25lb limits in the boat all while temps are so low your equipment is freezing? It's crazy their reels are freezing and ice is a threat to their lines.
