Fathers day Marsh Island
got up at 6 sunday and headed over to the point to go fishing. put the boat in the water and headed out to the island. waves were 2-3 maybe even 4...and the water was chocolate milk so i headed south towards the island and made my first stop at the weir to get some bait. got shrimp and finger mullet and headed to oyster lake. arrived at oyster lake and found murky water. got a stingray first cast, a big one. then a croaker or two. decided to hit a secret spot of mine on the north side of the island to the east of bird island bayou and found nothing there. we scratched ... went to cruise in shark bayou and the water was beautiful in there but was completely fresh. anyone did any better?
