The Bomber is the most versatile bait you'll find for fishing Big Lake. I didn't see one spot over there that didn't look like a Bomber spot. If you're a "dink" fisherman, you can catch 'em. Since it's a big trout bait, winter and spring should be fantastic. You can't say that about a Corky...or an eel.

Honestly, the first time I ever saw an eel was in a tacklebox that I inherited from my grandfather...thought, that bait is ridiculus. Use them all the time now.

They both catch big fish just depends what ur fishing.

My 3 biggest (all biglake)

10.2 black/chrt sandeel jr.
9.75 chrt catch 2000
9.50 glow/chrt sandeel jr.

So yes they catch big fish but if im shallow after big fish probably wont have a sandell on most of the time.

Why would it? I know who he is, too. He is not in the "general public" when it comes to Big Lake fishermen. The class he's in....don't take long to call roll.

What's your 3 biggest on an eel?

I found an old tackle box at my dad's house the other day and opened it up to find the old reliable tandem speck rig...lol...I got a good laugh out of it and then I thought, I don't know why I'm laughing, when we were kids we caught alot of fish on these baits. I guess nobody uses it anymore..
