Default 8/23/11 Big Lake

Paul Myers, specktator(BirdMan) and Myself made a trip....

BirdMan picked me up a super bad castnet

Man it started of sucking big time......only a few trout by 8am...So I told the BirdMan...cast net time....

I made 3 cast(looked like death) and he took over mullet was so thick we could throw tacos and load up......

Had a live well full of mullet..so anchored up with slack tide and started soaking.....We caught 2 on live mullet...then I must of had some bleach in my live well from cleaning my boat because those mullet died like the Saints chances of winning two super bowls...

Went to the beach 1 trout......

So came back in the lake and finally tide movement!!!! One stop shop is what I like!! Pulled up and game on!!! Cast after cast trout on!!!

Down fall was Paul had to work nights so I promised we would not fish pass noon....so we got on the bite about 10:50 and almost boated our 45 trout...fell a few shy but it was a good time!!

all our trout but 2 came off Limetreuse Tidal Surge Split tail mullet....

I thought "I" couldn't throw a cast net. After watching him try a few times, I thought to myself man I KNOW I can at least do better than that. Had a great time dude.
