Only one boat launch over on the east side of the lake.
There are two ways to get there. You can come in from the east on the hwy 31 south of Breaux Bridge about 2 miles until you get to Lake Martin rd. Turn west and the lake is about 2 miles down the road. OR.... Coming from Lafayette on the Breaux Bridge Hyw [hwy 94] Go south on the St. Martinville Hwy [Hwy 353] which is just outside Lafayette. Go down Hwy 94 about 5 miles and turn east on Rookery rd. Follow the road around the lake until you get to the boat launch. |
