I watched an old lady do that one time. She took a knife and cut all along the rib cage and just pulled the bones out. She filled it with water and it never leaked. Freakin' amazin'!

in college I lived next to prien lake park on the water, we would go gigging for flounder on the south side of rabbit island under the bridge catch 5-10 a night normally, a lot of fun and not so sober times out there

run a knife down backbone to tail then up along fins on both sides of fish. careful not to cut through skin. take scissors and cut backbone out then feel meat to be sure all bones are gone. takes a little time to get use to doing it but it's worth it when you fill it up with shrimp and crab meat stuffing. make u bring back stuff you never stole
