Just called my dad.

Him and my brother are up there right now.

Water level around 164-165
They are in mill creek on the Texas side south part of the lake.
Frogs and flukes in 3-4 foot of water around stumps.
It's Windy they troll a ways. Tie to a stump and fish around a while then move

They are on the fish. Good size fish 3-4 pounders

Just hearing nice fish are being caught is good enough for me, where a burnt up motor or a pushpole is not required, thanks

1fatmerc can tell you all about them burnt up motors, he's reach one yr without a motor good thing he got a t/m that can get him on plane.

it won't be long and you may need a push pole at the bend and a four-wheeler at laccafish

185,000 acres of water to fish. Don't be scared off by the Elites. Its only 100 boats and most of them will be away from weekend warrior water. I think this is the best weekend to fish up there. You can fish and have a good time and then head up to Cypress and watch the best in the world weigh in.
