Default Henderson Hammers 7-21-13

Was a pretty slow day with the rising water, thunderstorms ,and wind. Managed to pull out about 13-15 but they were some hammers. One of them was a big white that was probably between 1 1/2 - 2 LBS. The fish are scattered now with the water rising so it is hard to find them thick. All fish were caught north of I -10. Better than a day at work fasho ! Tight lies to all !

Post is actually from today...7-22-13 . I put the wrong date. Crowd was not bad today because the river quit going down. When I went last Monday and Thursday ( river going down ) you could swear no one worked anymore....must be the Obamacare ! LMAO

Some were caught around there Bgizzle . Tried further south but couldn't get on a bite. Bounced around and scrapped out a few. Went by the boulevard and the water was too stained. Next day off is this weekend so it might be a while before I go again.

Anything natural. Greens n light pink or mixed. Electric chicken been go to for me. Where dey at? Idk hadn't been in a week or so. Prolly best bet your best honey hole up north. Where ever there's grass beds and broke up Lillie's in semi cooler water. They prolly all strung out bc of the river coming up

Electric chicken is natural color? lol sorry though that was funny. I always did good with a pumkinseed/chartruse tube jig pumped with crappie nibbles.
