Default Prien Lake Today

Took my wife and daughter out to Prien this morning. My daughter caught her limit of reds and the three biggest ones. All were caught on 3" gulp shrimp. I was in charge of the net and taking the fish off.

I was able to get a few specks on plastic.

Default Lady Fish

If we had a speck for every lady fish we caught, we would have had at least 2 limits of specks. Those things were annoying!!

whatever you do dont throw top water they go crazy for it!!! when we waded down there, they would kill the topwater bait before reds had a chance!

I had a sand eel about four inches above the water and one came completely out of the water and nailed it. They love crank baits too.

would one be acused of croaker soaking if they did that?
We need to have a Salty cajun fishing handbook that we could refer to thuroughly defining things such as, Potlicking , croaker soaking , etc.etc.

Potlicking in the Southwest = Grave Jumping in the Southeast.
