Default Identity theft

Just a reminder for everyone to keep an eye on their bank accounts. I know of three people personally in the Jennings area that have had their accounts compromised just this past week. One said they bank with Midsouth.

Seems that way right now. The charges on my account came from Ohio at a Speedway gas station. They drained a friends account yesterday or the day before.

Dang, now a bank account serial killer.
Do they have any idea how they've gotten to so many of y'alls accounts? Is it just The Bank & Jeff Davis Bank?
I guess when I go visit my mom, I won't be using any plastic.

are they all iberia bank?

I have an app for chase that tells me if a certian amount is charged to my account instantly. I mean literally i've swiped my card and by the time i'm at my truck a message pops up telling me where and what amount was charged to my card.

Man, i wonder what the common denominator is for all of this? Are they hacking into the banks? Hacking some place like walmart? Skimmers? Do y'all do banking on your phones?
This is crazy.

Some restraunt cashier or convieniance store clerk is stealing card numbers and selling them or there is a card reader swipe on a gas pump somewhere . . PLEASE CALL THE FBI and let them know what is going on . This is a definant theft ring and these numbers are being sold world wide.

This happens all the time. Matter of fact it happend at the shell station a couple of years ago in Evangeline. Come to find out it was an employee stealing the card info. The only thing I can tell you guys is monitor your accounts online at minimum of 2 times a day. For Brosee that's a major issue, he should contact a manger because a consumer has 30 days minimum to dispute a debit card charge. If this is on a business it's only 24 hrs. Hope this helps!!

I had a Threat of Identity Theft. We were really worried, as it was real.
Do not say, I do not have any money, so I do not care. That is BS.
They can mess you up real bad.

I did the research and bought Two Protection Plans.

The first as recommended by Dave Ramsey, Zanders Insurance.
http://zanderins.com/idtheft/idtheft.aspx

The second is Life Lock
http://www.lifelock.com/services/ultimate/

They both offer different types of protection, and different types of recovery services should a breach occur.

I NO longer worry.
