Default Vermillion Bay 9/25-9/27

Friday me and dad went.. stayed in the bay fishing the cove, hammock, weeks bay, and dry reef. Cove was kinda slow fish were on the bottom, but live bait was producing (we didn't have any) Went try to find some around sharks bayou, but no luck. Stopped at the trash pile and there was a few people catching that were fishing over something and we didn't want to get close and spook there fish, so we didn't catch anything there. Went to the hammock and caught most of our fish there. Then went to dry reef and the water was muddy so we went back to the hammock and continued catching. Artificial color of the day pearl and chartreuse. 34 speck total. No trophies most around 14 inches.. small

Saturday-went wakeboarding

Sunday- Dad, my brother and I went fished all the same spots and had pretty much the same results except we went out the pass where you could of caught all the sand trout you wanted at caldwell. Tried Tee Butte but nothing was happening. Heard they were there earlier that day though. I did end up catching two trout in one cast on my Top Dog though =) But by the time I got them off 284 boats were on top of us, because we were catching as fast as we could throw and all the trout left. Same colors, just don't know the total of fish yet. Guessing around the same as friday.

Don't have any pictures, because they were all small for the most part and we cleaned fridays fish as soon as we got back that way we could go wakeboarding on Saturday.

Default big trout

I fished in the Bay Sunday as well but most of my fish where over 20 inches. Didn't catch many though, like 8 or 9.

Which markers? I fish right against the structure. Not sure if it's necessary, but that's where I catch.

If any of you Vermilion Bay guys are ever looking for an extra person to help split the costs I'm always looking to do some fishing, just most of the time I can't make it across the bay in my boat.
