Fast and Furious Trout Bite 2-15-12
    Capt Chris Venable jumped on board the big Bluewave with me this morning for a quick scouting trout slam. We got a late start but still had the yellow mouths flying over the gunnel's every-cast at our first stop. We left them biting when it slowed down with 31 iced down. Second stop had the same results as we finished our 50 fish limit and left them biting once it slowed down. We checked five other locations and caught fish at every stop. Good as it gets as the fish were aggressively hitting the baits and shaking their heads all the way back to the boat. Texas Tackle Factory Killer Flats Minnows in Chicken on Chain color, and Matrix Shad in Avocado colors did most of the damage today. Highlife Blue Tiger and regular blue back swimbaits produced 10+ fish. Good as it gets today as the trout bite is HOT!!! Thanks Capt Chris for the great company today and keeping our record going. |
TTF Killer Flats Minnows kicked some trout tail today and have all the action on video. Will post when finished. Thanks to the guys at TTF for producing a awesome bait. Lost count the number of fish I caught before having to put a new tail on.
