Around my part I'm paying about $8.75 but recently my friend found a place for a 55 gallon drum for $35.

yea, I paid 7.95 for 50# down I Cuero a couple weeks back. Was in Missouri and Illinois last week and the corn crop looked great. Biggest fields I've ever seen. Hopefully the corn prices will drop once they start cutting. beats the hell out of
$12 per 50

This was a corn year. People all over harvested record corn crops this year. Hopefully this drives the price down.

The gubment trying to mandate the use of corn to make ethanol aint helping either.

The also had some pretty bad droughts over the last few years.
