5 is a good age to start..

Both my sons had BB guns.. I instilled in them gun safety and had them handling their BB guns just like they're shotguns from the very beginning..

He's in bed and all ready to go. He laid out his clothes and packed his red ryder in a gun case so his would be like mine. Got his face cover and ear muffe packed. Not sure who is more excited, him or me

This very short post may be the best ever on this site. Please share the outcome of this hunt.

Mine has been coming since he was 4. It was easy rice field hunts at the time and I always made sure to take him on nice easy conditions. Didn't want him to be uncomfortable at all. He'd pop the decoys with his red Ryder in between flights. Got his 410 at age six or so. He's now 12 and been shooting a 20 pump for 3 years. He's a trooper, he actually has less trouble walking through the marsh now than I do.

That would be illegal. No air guns on duck hunt.

Want my address to bring the ticket to?

People like you piss me off. I'd gladly take the ticket to spend that time with my son. In fact, ill give you my schedule and you can write me one every day that I'm there. Just be ready for what I give you in return......

Wanna come on a forum and rain on a kids parade.......what a faggot

If you take them when they are young . They will take YOU when you are old.

Remember and never forget.

Its not an air gun. Its a spring loaded bb gun. Do us a favor and hold your breath...forever.

Got the chills reading this! I remember my first hunt like it was yesterday eventhough it was 20 yrs ago. I still remember exactly what the duck looked like when it was at the end of the barrel sitting in the decoys! So much more great things I remember in such detail but I won't digress. Good luck, and safety first!

Dink.......Clayton has been going since he was six........His birthday usually falls on the youth hunt weekend ......November the 6th.........

My wife gave me a picture book from shutterfly with all his youth hunts from the first to the last......which was last year......

I am getting choked just writing this......

He is now soon to be 17, working and going to school, already thinking about which college. Our hunting days together are getting less because of all his endeavors.

But those years...........well let's just say, they forged a great young man to be around.

You my friend are starting something so important to our society and our culture.

Thanks.........

From one dad to another.
