Default Breton

Launched in Venice this morning to a stiff breeze made our way down baptise collett and hit the sound to find a pretty bumpy ride to Breton island. Started throwing tw and had a nice hook up started peeling drag thought it was a good sign.... Friggin bluefish lol. Every trip I've made to Breton island this year has sucked , hardly any bait working stained water, not like the usual 9:30 75 trout trips. This year ive had better luck at gossier than B.I. And usually its the other way around. Caught 1 decent trout and one small dinky trout and my gf caught a flounder. Even
though we didn't catch hardly anything , getting to watch that
sun come up over Breton island
watching the 1000's of pelicans is
always worth it ! Goin back down
Friday-sunday hopefully the wind will lay down this week so the water will clear up .

Should have went to BL and potlicked the black Haynie.
Shorter drive from BR than that LONG run to Venice.

It's 15 miles from Marina to mouth of Baptiste Collette then another 8 or so miles to B.I., Pox I've caught better trout at Gossier than B.I's, Don't why that is but the quality was always better, Now as far as numbers go, I've caught more at B.I's.

Pox you ever fish South Pass?
