Default Need Some Advice

I'm new to this forum and salt water fishing in LA although I have fished salt water for years on the east coast, Savannah, GA and the gulf, Tampa, FL. I'm looking for a place on the LA coast either temporarily, 5th wheel, or a permanent camp. I'm retired and could go anywhere from Port Arthur, TX to the LA/MS line. I live in north central LA now. I'm looking for some feed back on where to go for the best return for my money. Only interested in fishing, hunt in KS. Where would you go given this opportunity? Thanks for any suggestions.

You really can't beat Venice, but if you want something a little closer the Houma area has a bunch of good fishing year round also. Inshore and offshore.

Dularge , Dulac , Cocodrie area. Good fishing most of the year for specks or reds!
