Is seems like its always windy here in south Louisiana. More times than not anyhow. Thats why its best to get out there early to try and beat the winds.

Ain't that the truth. April is usually pretty bad about the wind. Should start to slack off here in a couple of weeks.

even with the muddy water and high winds it looks like the trout are showing up again. I cant wait to get back out there

April is bad, but I've always found May to be the cruelest of months.

As long as those pressure ridges around Arkansas keep staying that wind will blaaaaoooowwww. We need it to push North. Hopefully in a few weeks! Cause those reds and trout aren't going to make it in the wind and muddy water. We have to get em outta there! 😅😂😂

yes sir, it's spring and it's been windy for the last couple of years and probably will be windy next spring as well. Sometimes all you can do with this wind is fish the marsh and marsh cuts. Should be some good spring flounder action happening in there for those that fish for them.
