Default What's on the menu!

Great time for those fun menu's. What everyone whipping up?

We are having:

Prime Rib
Garlic roasted mushrooms
Crispy buttered parmesan baked potatoes
Green been casserole

Washed down with Four Roses and additional adult beverages.

Deserts
Various candies.

Let the prep work begin...

1/8C Kosher Salt
1/4C Fresh Rosemary Chopped
1/4C Fresh Thyme Chopped
1/8C Black Pepper
6-8 pods of chopped minced garlic
EVOO till ingredients make a paste

Tonight is a pork loin stuffed with cornbread dressing and wrapped in bacon. Tomorrow is fried turkey, jambalaya, greenbean casserole, corn maque choux, pasta salad, brisket, honey ham, and an assortment of sweets. Washing it all down with Crown.

That's the old man's baby. He usually sears it on the pit and then finishes it in the roaster. I'd guess he'll light the pit around 4ish in the morning. I'm working the turkeys, and we just buy hams. All the women are in charge of the sides.
