I have been going to well control school in Lafayette and was looking at the water under the interstate. It looked to good to pass up. The clearer water is all north of the bridge. You don't have to go far south to hit chocolate milk.

That's what I heard to. I went a month or so ago down plaqumine and fished every tree top I could find but I only caught some baby blues.

I hate that. Believe it or not most of our fish were caught 1' to 1 1/2' deep. I figured they would be deeper. We started at 5' deep and kept shallowing up.

When you say north of the bridge, do you mean the I10 bridge?

Yes Hydro, hearing reports of alot of bass being caught. When I say North I'm referring to the Hwy 90 bridge in Mermentau.

Nice catch. Always like fishing that river, some real nice areas everywhere, just have to find what they will hit.
