Ok I promise this is the last trip and report for the week, beautiful morning on the lake and the sacs were very agressive taking tube jigs under a cork.Did,'t see another boat where I was.No more eggs in the sacs and they are getting into their summer patern on the lake,(they will be found in the deepest water near grass beds in the middle of the coves.Good Luck and if I can help hit me up.

Another fantastic day you had! Congrats.

You don't have to quit fishing this week just because you promised.

I Do not use gps in this lake,I have been fishing it all my life and there are certain trees and areas that produce year after year,it's all visaul.First thing a beginner should do on this lake is have a good selection of tube jigs with small corks and pay attention to the water, sometimes thw sacs slap the top of the water when they are active which is a giveaway.Try different things and it will work out.Good luck

The water is still high,I want it to go down so the grass can grow a little more.

Nice mess of fish. Last time I was there I had back my truck way into the lake to launch. Had to lock it in 4wd to get out. Thought about going this morning but went to Chicot instead. I just washed my truck and didn't feel like getting it all muddy just to launch the boat. Maybe later this week I give the bass a try in there.
