Default vbay dead.

Well just got back from fishing vbay total of 30 miles today. From cp to marsh island and all the way north. Not one bite. Stopped by the weirs no crab or bait.

Yep. It's done till probably June. Gonna be lots of water coming down the river once all that snow melts up north. So it will get worse before it gets better.

The reds still should show up once the water warms up. Specks in V-bay will be another story.

you just confirmed what i thought. glad i stayed home!

water temps are still in the 50s, needs to be 60-70 before i make another trip.

They are there. Just have to know where to find them in the early winter and spring. Between now and end of May can be challenging with with the weather and mid water temps. It gives them too much room to spread out and too much bait to chase after with the glass minnows and the brown shrimp hatch. key to finding fish right now is glass minnows over mud and shell in 2-5 feet. find the glass minnows and you'll find some fish.

Try finding bait at both weirs nothing at all, no bait jumping ect it seem like they disappear.
