Easy way to install batteries?

It's time to put new batteries in my bay boat. It's a PIA to getty them in and out of the center console. Does anyone have and tips or tricks for doing this?

Tip: make sure there are no kids around to hear all the cursing your gonna do! I did mine a while back and it was a pain!
