Default Motion added to your decoy spread - video from Saltycajun

I apologize for the low volume in this recording. This is an example of what a Pulsator II or similar product looks like in the water which will bring life to your decoy spread on calm days. This is similar to a manual jerk rig.

I hunted with a guide in south Texas several times this year and he introduced me to the Pulsator and similar products. On the calm days that we hunted together we routinely would our perform the other groups. We had several ducks actually land next to the Pulsator with very little calling on our part.

There are several videos on the web that discuss how you can make a homemade version of this product. I have seen people use only one of these to as many as four.

We have a long wait until duck season so....

The sport is still new to me, I wish I would have hunted as a child but I find the sport is not as big of deal over in the Baton Rouge area (where I grew up) compared to Lafy and points west of Lafy. I never thought I would find a sport that was more obsessive for me that trout fishing but...

My son's first Mallard came back from Steve this week, it looked like Christmas morning here at my house. I woke up yesterday and my oldest son was in the living room reading the latest issue of Delta Waterfowl. We all have it bad....

it's a great sport and addictive to say the least. Duck hunting is not a sport for me anymore it's a way of life, and it means more to me than just killing a limit of ducks it's just being out there with family and freinds just calling and watching the birds.

We make them all the time. With all new materials you can still save about $40 bucks a piece compared to a new one. I'll take these any day over a flapper. These things are deadly in the flooded timber.

Looks more like a coot than what a duck does.

Turn signal flasher. I stuck it into a PVC pipe cap and silicone it to waterproof it incase the box leaked.
