If ya talking about the new place in the curve off old town road, yep gonna be a restaurant, grocery, bait type place. Got a hellava warf built on the river. The RV camp ground looks like it is going to be nice. Rumored that just East on the old folks home piece of property may be a hotel being built in the future.

First I hear of it. Not surprised, though, food was second rate. Service was even worse. That place has such huge potential. It could easily be like DIs or Aucoins without the long drive.

BUT, would Moss Bluff and the surrounding areas support it?

First thing is beating out old money iin the Bluff and after you do this then there is a secret that some places have learned. You take a place like DI's or Bigg Daddys or Shuck's or any other restraunt that makes it in the middle of no where and there is a secret in there some where and its not only good food or service its a mix of things.

I think a hooters, ****s or a dave and busters would do good in moss bluff or lake charles

thats somthin I was thinkin, most of your places way out that make it do a night or two live music and it makes it nice to sit an listen even if you have diff styles come through. i'm thinkin a cool setup would be an ice house style set-up, metal building roll up doors for the fall and spring time, stage, dance floor, then maybe wall off 3 rooms, 2 for get togethers and 1 just for people who want to be away from the bar style them (dance floor). Serving seafood, steaks mostly. Calling it "Kick Back at Latts"

where that house is? thought the park wass back around both sides of launch, thats to say they ever build the park.

I think the park will be from the boat launch area to the west to the bend in the river.

I don't know if it includes the land [house] up by the road. The listing for that house included about 6 acres of land. About a year ago, the land behind the house was partically cleared, but it has grown up some now.

well IF the park ever gets built, that house area would make a great sspot for business; restraunt, gas station bait shop, rv park or all in one
