Any of yall ever been? Going to be doing alot of fishing while there.. actually, the entire time I'm there..

What baits? etc.

My families vacation home is 10 min from captive . Call mike he lives 30 min from there have him take u out on the low tide

I called mikey already, waiting on him to return my call. Im going to do some serious beach fishin.. Telly, is it true though about the species around the island?

Tarpon,snook,reds,trout,grouper,SHARKS, SHARKS, SHARKS!!! The beaches are so so u have to hit em at daybreak fir plastics otherwise live bait . U need to hook up with mike he will put u on fish. When r u going? I may head down mid July

not sure.. Mid july 10th area.. Not sure exact date but around then


Im goin for a tarpon. Bigger or little, I want a friggin tarpon. Wouldn't mind just wading the sand bars on the beaches... We'll be at the south side of Captiva.. I'll probably rent a Yak one day and go into the back water...

There is a ton of guides down there. We may go down July 16ish just nit sure yet. When u enter sanibel island go over the causeway n look to yer left there is a big pass you can wade out n get on a sand bar n smoke em. There are also a few lighted piers in captiva
