Default 50cc Atvs

What's your take on the cheap Japanese versions. My little one's electric JD gstir kicked the bucket from riding in the water. It looks like Kawasaki is the only big name 50cc. This will be something that 2 kids will get to use so I'm thinking the Kawasaki 4 stroke would last longer but hard not to consider the Japanese versions at % 25 the cost of the Kawasaki.

I bought two of them a few years ago. One for my daughter and one for her cousin for Christmas. I can't remember the name of one of them but it broke down on Christmas day and has never ran since..... Couldn't find any parts or anyone to work on it. The other one was a Kazuma 90. It seemed to be a little better built and it ran good with no problems. This was over 5 years ago when these Chinese four wheelers first hit the market and nobody had parts or worked on them. I am sure parts are probably more available now. I would make sure before I bought one though.

Got a Chinese one for my son for Christmas. He has put somewhere in the neighborhood of 10,000 miles on it since then. I have had to flush the carburetor a couple of times and replace it once. Also had to replace a sprocket, I've had no problems finding cheap parts on line. Its a Coolster. Maybe I'm just lucky.

Yamaha use to make one that my little brother rode a ton. My cousins little boy has it now and still holding strong. I know they had to do a little carb work on it but still holding up.

Pay more and get a 90cc Polaris, Honda, Yamaha or Suzuki. You can make them run slower with some carb adjustments. Some even have remote controls to stop them.

Kids grow up to fast to buy a 50. It will out last the Chinese ones and after your kids are to old to ride it you can sell it for a lot more than Chinese one.

The Yamaha Raptor 90 would make you kids the coolest in the neighborhood

Now that y'all say that I believe it is a 90. I think he got it age 5, dad just adjusted the screw to lower the speed.

The Polaris 90 Sportsman comes standard with adjustable speed control and a remote control that the adult maintains and if bike gets to far from remote it auto shutsdown. It can also be shutdown with a button on remote.i

Yep Polaris or Yamaha. I did the Chinese 4wheeler and it was total crap. Get a 90-125 they will outgrow anything smaller way to fast.

Polaris 90 is real good
for kids...bought one for my boys...easiest one to turn out of all the little bike we went look at...big enough to last a while when they get a little bigger.

Got a 50cc Honda when I was 3. I'm 30 now and the sucker still carries my 195lbs around the yard.

Didn't even the think about polaris, I'm thinking I'll go with another electric powrr wheels till my boy is older. 4 is a little young imo for a 90 cc four wheeler however I wad definitely already leaning towards the big name 4 strokes.

4 aint too young...i had my 4 year old on an old 70 honda 3wheeler till he got a little too brave..then went picked up a 90 popo in lafayette and he could turn it easy..just set the throttle down low, it has a wrist band tether kill also. Good floor boards to keep their feet out of the tires..I unscrew the throttle and ride my 2 year old boy on it too..It will deff. pay for itself.

Shawn my 4 year old daughter drives the 6 year old twins 90 4 wheeler easy. We have it turned down and they always wear a helment. You can turn it down to hardly nothing and they will grow into it.

Try the electric Razor fourwheeler. Built 10x better than the Power wheels. Real rubber wheels with bearings, aluminum frame, real brakes. My kids love it. Went through several of the plastic ones before getting this one. Built like a tank and new was under $400
