Default Tensas Report

I'm writing this report for the group I was suppose to go with, my dad, uncle and 2 cousins, but couldn't due to work. First time I've missed the Tensas Thanksgiving weekend hunt in 15 years. Anyway, Friday cousin #1 shoots a nice 6 pt that weighted 205 gutted and dad nicked a doe, cousin #2 seen 3 does that got chased off by a bear before he gets a shot. Uncle sees nothing. During morning hunt. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1385907146.894185.jpg

Saturday dad shoots a doe, uncle shoots a spike and cousin #2 shoots a yearling. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1385907449.941957.jpg

From what they said, the total deer killed in the Mclemore area was 18 and this 6pt was the biggest. Another guy they talked to said the wardens at the Sharkey wheeler trail said they didn't have many deer come out of there either.

Just found out that my uncle got a ticket for having 26" tires on his four wheeler... The game warden said it was $225.... I'm sure y'all know tires can't be larger than 25"...

They regulate tire size to keep the bikes with the big/aggressive tires out to stop from tearing up the trails.
