Default Catching a Armadillo

So about 3 days ago I noticed something was screwing up my flower beds and landscaping. As days went by it got worse and worse. I decided to setup two game cams in the flower beds. I went and got a trap today and gonna try to catch ****ing thing tonight. Wish me luck!

Its coming out at different times and if I didnt have so much going on then i would. Drinking beer with a gun in my hand sounds like fun, but I have work and dont feel like wasting my time waiting on no dam armadillo

Early evening, right before dark.
Or early morning right after dark.
Not easy to catch in a live trap.
I'd say choot 'em too.
When you choot 'em, they jump.

What bait you gonna use?

The whole leprosy thing scares me about armadillos, but I 'worked with' some people last year that would drop everything they were doing if an armadillo was around. They would gang up and chase it, and if it went in a hole they would dig it out. Says its just like pork

They are fun to chase around though, get a welding glove and grab one by the tail and chase people with it.

Yep, they ain't too trap happy. My neighbor had coons living in her attic and I trapped em for her. Caught 3 the first night, gave em to a friend who eats em, but the next week I caught a couple opossums, and every neighborhood cat at least once Those coons are pretty smart, they see the others in the trap and they avoid it. I kinda liked watching them in my backyard and my dog liked to tree em, so I gave em a break.

Someone also told me that i didnt even need to bait it. If i just set it up he said just to set it up along the house with 2 2x6's spread out going to the trap because they are blind.

Live traps don't work good on armadillos.
Use some nutria traps. They catch everything.
