Default 9/13 and 9/14 Vinton Teal Hunt

Finally got to make it out to the fields last week for some teal birds!! Took my girlfriend on her first hunt Thursday and I shot my limit. I also went Friday morning and shot my limit again. Teal and woodies everywhere!!! Hopefully we will have another season like last year.

Hear are a few pictures from both days. My pup was excited to be back at work!!

That poor dog looks hot. Teal season and neoprene never mix.

It was cool both mornings. It wasn't for looks, it's to hide his bright coat.

My uncle has land out there. Phil Rauser...He farms rice and soy beans. They have about 2600 acres.

Great hunt
Let me know anytime your girlfriend wants to go hunt. I have plenty of room in my blind.

My thoughts too. Also, her hat looks familiar.

Got that hat at a fishing tourney with you at Toledo Bend. Can't believe that's already been about 3 years..

I wasn't trying to be critical, just giving you a warning. Lots of dogs go down during teal season with heat related illnesses. If I had to pick between a yellow dog showing his fur during teal season versus putting a vest on, i would let him show his coat. He won't bother the teal I promise.
