Caught a few crabs last weekend, shrimp where there but not worth the casting time.

thanks Let um land. Heard about a "system" in the north gulf, but doesn't look too bad so we'll still be going. I'll report when I get back on Thurs (if I get back).

promised report
Yesterday was a perfect day, overcast, but no rain and fairly cool. Managed a limit of 40-50 count, but crabs were small and hard to find in numbers. Today, got my butt soaked, but managed another limit of shrimp, same size.

JH, but judging by the trucks I saw at the landing at Rollover on the way (about 10) and on the way back about 10:30a.m. there were only 2, I suspect RO is doing just as good.

depends on where you are coming from. If from Kaplan/Abbeville, it'll be on your left just after you pass the old school. Reverse if coming from LC/Cameron. Don't know how to post a map, but hard to miss cuz there is a sign in front of the private launch. |
