Default Sunday Supper

Squirrel n dumplings with mustard greens and corn bread. Nothin special but some good eats. Squirrels from the woods and greens from the garden. Just how it should be.

Otis. Its about halfway between Alexandria and Leesville.
Dink really had me going with his Le Boucheree (prolly spelled that wrong) pics. I have always wanted to do that. I have butchered many hogs but have never done anything like that. I can just imagine the men getting the water ready for scalding on a frosty morning while the women are waiting for the livers and hearts to cook down for an onion gravy with some big buttered biscuits. Im not trying to stereotype anyone and I hope you don't take it that way. I read what y'all do and see your pics and I must admit my jealously. Glad for y'all.
