Default Tiger Shoals Yesterday

Headed out on Tuesday with a buddy and my two young boys. After passing by Dry Reef I noticed rain on the horizon in several directions. Not wanting to head that far out with storms in the area we trolled around Dry Reef for a half an hour or so with no bites. By that time the storms had cleared out and so we headed out the pass to some platforms. Halfway out the water turned a beautiful trout green. At the second stop we pulled up a few nice specks on plastics by just letting the bait fall to the bottom and fishing slow. After hearing my youngest complain long enough about the heat we headed to Tete Butte before returning inside. The water there was milky so we didn't stay long. Came back to the north side of Marsh Island and caught a couple more reds on shrimp under a cork. While there a shower popped up and we got soaked for 20 minutes or so which the kids loved. Always a good day when you're out with your boys.

Sounds like fun. The GPS must be working good. Tells the boys congrats on their fish.

Default Shell Keys

Was going to head to the Shell Keys near South Point but my fishfinder was kaput. Transferred my transducer wire to my GPS/Sonar unit to make sure the new transducer is working. Will have to go out again to see if it's working. Know the Shell Keys is a great area but haven't been yet....will be a learning experience!
