Default Vbay skunked

Made evening trip got on water about 4:45 tide was high and falling caught 6 trout and a red in about 45 minutes then no tide at all! Fish started short striking and eating tails off bait. Had a cousin and a friend that were there and left had been when bite was still on they had a box if fish. I was a few hours to late.

We caught 60% of our fish from 430 to 630. They did start eating tails off plastics but we just swapped to smaller bait and tipped with shrimp and it fixed that crap

haha thank god they don't all post, then all 10k members would be there... its bad enough already out there. You used to be able to ride around and find your own fish, now there's a boat every 100 foot

You can still i think. Just gotta be very secretive when u catch a fish. Hope I didn't do this to no one on here but yesterday a boat motored up on us while we were on anchor I hooked a trout they looked at me I acted like I was hung up they turned I reeled in as fast as I could and turned my back and flipped it in without them even noticing. Then they left. I did notice that there was ALOT of boats in one area we wanted to fish so we stayed on the outside edge of the reef and caught very well like the fish moved to the edge bc of the crowd. Go figure huh

One of the site members motored up on my buddy yesterday while he was catching and shut his bite off.

Trout fisherman and respect do not go in the same sentence. Nature of the beast. All that trouble for some worm infested fillets.

I caught 8-9 today slow bite and slow tide again but speaking of motoring up I had a guy motor I swear 10 foot from me and ask if I was catching I said "I was!" Some people have zero respect and other are just clueless. But I just blow it off no use to get fired up.

Good to see I wasn't the only one. I fished all day, and nothing the get excited over. I saw one boat following birds, catching a few. I couldn't get close enough without screwing them up, so I moved on. Lots of boats out on a Tuesday......

Can someone please post a diagram of how to lay the 8? Recommended speeds would be helpful too.

All I know is you need a little momentum whilst beginning the 8. If you try it from a dead stop it just looks foolish
