Default Big Lake Dec 22nd

Decided to take godchild and his friend to the lake. Arrived at Cal Point Landing to find nothing but fog and met up with Lavocat Nice to meet you buddy and very nice boat. Headed out following Lavocat to Turners to only catch a couple specks. Moved to another spot to catch some reds but only caught 5. The boys got bored and were ready to go by one. All in all it was a good day but won't be taking them out again for a while. LOL

It gets better as they grow up. Then they find out that there are girls out there and they won't fish for a couple of years, but they do come back to fish again.
Just keep taking them.

Sure looks like they had a good time.

Good to meet you too BayBolt. I never did see you once we cut through the fog to Turners. We stayed in Turners and ended up with 10 trout and 2 reds. That is the clearest I have ever seen the water there. Once the fog lifted, I could see the reef in 3 foot of water. Sorry for not posting pics but mt son took them on his phone.

Definetly the clearest I have ever seen the water. We fished Turners for a couple of hours only catching 2 trout. They each caught a trout so I was happy with that. Thought for sure Calcuttas lill hole would have produced more reds but them damn mosquitoes were out of control and had to roll out.

Yeah Lavocat I didn't see you after that either. They definitely had more boats than I expected out there.
