Default Marine Electrical Work in Lafayette

I would appreciate recommendations for marine electrical work in Lafayette. i need to get 24 volt system for trolling motor checked and re-wired

yesterday i turned the power switch on for my trolling motor batteries and smoke was everywhere even after i switched it off for a few minutes. disconnected and removed batteries and they tested fine. switch is in good shape, no corrosion.

nothing has been changed since i put the boat up last October.

appreciate any recommendations.
