Got a company fishing tournament Saturday for best 5 stringer which is more like bragging rights cause you don't really win anything but, I was just wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction that has been fishing the area. I Dont wanna sound like im potlicking or anything lol.I have been working to much to do anything and haven't been on the water as much as I would like too. Thanks in advance and will report the outcome!

Well, went out of burns point Friday morning at 7:30am headed to humble cut, water was very dark and clear with the green algae. Fished for about 30min. With no luck, saw a bunch of gars rolling and sharks swimming under the boat. Picked up and headed to the island hit the worm for maybe 15 min with same outcome. Hit south of the island more bad water. Kept moving and headed back to launch at 6:30pm with nothing but melted ice. Caught a few rat reds. Yesterday we decided to hit ICY with no luck as well. One of those things were your not in your own boat so you can't make all the decisions you would like too... still had a good time just being out there and ready to go back!

I'm seeing a lot of green algae in the water. My question is, after shrimp, crabs & fish stay in these same waters, does this affect eatable?
