sometimes a lot of people, sometimes not. if you go and walk on the rocks be careful, it looks like it might be easy, but it isn't at all, especially carrying rods, tacklebox, cooler. fall on em, and you'll be lucky if you don't break a leg or something. there are a couple of places to the right of the ferry landing if you go down that road, but not many.

You can walk on the rocks from the boat launch to the gate of the jetty recreation area. If you go past that, you have to pay to get in.
There are bathrooms, pavillion, rv spots, fishing pier and parking lot in side the recreation area.

You can fish the launch dock and the rocks in the picture shown in the link below for free, outside the gate:

ill tell u my way.i take a 3oz slide egg weight but a clacker bead and tie to swivel this will keep u from hitting weight aginsst swievile.then i take 18 inch leader with keal hook and break half of a crab.cast out and if u have the 6500 use the clicker i also use ugly stick.sit back wait till fish take off pulling clicker set the hook and hold on.the egg weight keeps line on bottom but lets the fish take bait with no resriction.

We were at the campground fishing the jetties For a Lil while yesterday. Weather was horrible, tornado warnings actually. I had never been there and only had 3/4oz lead heads and shrimp..... The weight never touched bottom, current was bad bad. Next time Im bringing 3-4 oz weights.

And how the hell do they get drum and bull reds over that railing??? I wasn't impressed with the setup at all.

Bridge net at acadamey available for less than $20 . helps if once you get the ropes attached to tie a 8 oz weight to the bottom of the net in the center. . seems to me to make it work a lot better
