Default Indian Creek

Me and my uncle are going Indian Creek Friday to run his boat and do a little fishing anybody have any advice, I've never fished it before. I pretty much stay on the Calcasieu river and Toledo.

I like the north end of the lake, I troll the channels and throw into all the old dead trees. It has never failed to produce good bass and perch. Beetle spins in assorted colors, or small spinner baits if it's warm. Worms and jigs when it's cold. Also, at the spillway, there is a large concrete structure, I always pick up some at the bottom of it.

Main lake points with crank baits, carolina rigs and large spinner baits this time of year.
