Are you fishing north or south of I-10 bridge?

North of the bridge. I know.... size. No nibletts is not the Sabine river. Another note to add is that these are not largemouth.

They are Largemouth. Is Nibletts not considered part of the river?

Not large mouth and not "river proper" as specified by LDWF

If they aren't large mouth what are they? So if you are not on the main river you follow normal LA laws?

You are right on the river Proper. Nibletts falls under normal LA laws.

With the jaw not protruding past the eye, high dorsal fins between the higher ridges and tooth patch on tongue they are spotted bass. Yes, once you leave the "river proper" you adhere to state law.
