Default Alaska Trip

My wife and I made it back to town on the red eye early on Tuesday morning. We stayed in Soldotna, Ak at the Spruce Wood Lodge. We spent two days fishing for Silver Salmon (limit is two per person) and rainbow trout (catch and release only) and one day fishing for Halibut (also 2 per person). Lastly, we were able to take a Glacier boat tour and also raft down the Kenai river. Here are a few pictures from our trip.

That would be a nice break from 100 degree temps. Would not want to fall in the water, that's for sure! Love the bear shot, that is bad azz!

Believe it or not alot of people were wade fishing. The water comes from the local glaciers so it is VERY cold, the guide told me right now the water was in the low 40s and colder near the Glacier.

You got back just in time. They just reported a 7.1 earthquake in Alaska along with tsunami warnings for several areas....
