Default Shimano Question

Who can tell me why all of Shimanos reel offerings start with a "C"?... Calais,Chronarch,Core,Curado,Citica.
Can you also tell me if the names have any meaning and who's definition?
I know this is totally useless information but I might need it on jeopardy one day.
