Used to be a place called Silver Moon Cafe by some railroad tracks that was incredible. Basically in someone's house and everything they had was deep fried and/or smothered in gravy. Best hangover food ever

Ate there many times . After Many years of being by the tracks they tried to move the Moon to Chimes street to get the student buisiness and couldn't make a go of it.

My former boss's son owns a restaurant in south baton rouge. Mike Willie's or Willie's. Apparently its a pretty good seafood restaurant.

Congratulations on the new job! Always exciting to start a new chapter in life.

Baton Rouge:
AKA Refinreyville; where the term "plant life" has nothing to do with botany.

I've eaten at Parrain's, Georges and Sammys all within the last week.

Parrain's is my favorite seafood place in BR without a doubt!!

Sammys is excellent but very very busy.

George's Southside has one of the best muffalattas I have ever had.

Also ate at Fat Cow on Highland and the food was very good

Go to Sammy's and ask for the Shrimp Bienville. Not on the menu, but the chefs in the back know what it is and how to make it. Good stuff right there!

Lol, yeah my bad. My wife loves to shop in perkins rowe and last time we were there we ate at Texas de Brazil. We also like Tsunami and Acme oyster House. Their fried oysters and grilled oysters are damn good!!

Acme, Izzos,.....you can actually eat out in a different restaurant every night. So don't worry about running out of good places to eat.
