I have a Date just rose gold and stainless, classic style
Three Omega Seamasters, my everyday guys
Five Swiss Armys, my hunting and boating watches
One Longines Masters collection Power reserve in 18K Rose Gold with the Valljoux movement that is a incredible work of art

And I have A Ball Conductor.
If you want a quality piece that customers will not notice or pay any attention too,
Look closely at the Ball Watches .........read a little history on this company.

Most Bang for the buck in Watches today in this country IMO.

Yes, I am a watch and gun snob.

I have a citizen Eco-drive sky hawk. The blue angels watch. This thing got all kind of gadgets on it that I have no idea how to use! I used to buy a lot of watches but got tired of replacing batteries. This one never needs a battery and changes time on its own when time changes. I paid $550 for it

Pox,

Got my YM in 08 for 7K. That's how much they've gone up. Also have a SS Sub and much prefer the YM. I also have an Invicta 8926 that looks like the SS Rolex Sub, Amazon has it for $85

Pox, Considering that much for watch you may want to take cruise over to the Islands.

Swiss watches are now more or less controlled pretty hard on watches.
You can expect a 20% savings on that particular model than taxes so you are looking at 3K in savings......which pays for a light curise with the bride.

Also, look into watch net . com and time zone . com, both great reputable places to pick up used pieces.

The model you are looking at can go as low as 5500.......just FYI

Pox you really should look into going out of the US if you are seriously thinking on getting a Rolex. I only paid $5500 for mine. I couldn't find it any cheaper than 8 in the states. My wife's was only $2800 you can't beat the deals.

St Lucia had tag & rolex for super cheap.
It was thru the sandals resort. Authorized dealer.
They showed the price in the USA and the island price.
Minimum of 30% off on all watches.
The higher price the more % off.
While we were there some guy bought 70k in watches.....
That sales girl was smilin ear to ear!!

Y'all are nutz...i'd be too scared to lose some of those 10k+ watches. I'm a dive watch junkie. Wife got me the 1st one as a birthday gift and i bought the 2nd while living in hawaii. Next watch will be a cert promaster watch that records oxygen and has depth/ascend timers etc.
