Those snot-cats are all over the bay. We couldn't cast without catching one.

Glad someone is keeping those ****s. I fished the bay friday towards marsh island with very little luck. Fished the cover today(tuesday) and didn't catch a damn thing. Water was clear with a north wind, but the tide didn't do much while I was there.

Had a new experience with gaff tops. Earlier this year, pulling in white trout, I ended up in a tug of war with a large gaff top. The gaff top had my 13" white trout in his mouth and was determined that it was his. Same trip had gaff tops following fish to our boat. Maybe sharks have been getting a bad rap due to the gaffies.

Keep posting photos like that on the net and CCA will have a slot and creel limits pushed on us by next week!

Easy now, Logan and I caught some trout the last time you came with me I don't know what they had against you. As for Sunday, I caught redfish, trout, and sand trout, but the other two guys in the boat wanted some action so I put them on what was biting. You can tell by the pics they had a hell of a time slinging them snot rockets in the boat. Sometimes its just fun to catch some fish, and they caught a bunch. Plus my neighbor doesn't have to buy crab bait for the next couple of weeks.

Well it started as "that's gafftops, let's leave them alone" and by the end of the day it turned into "how many you think we could catch?" lol

I felt bad for putting you guys on ZERO fish all day, I am glad them gaff tops came along. Blew off the stress of fishing all day for nothing. Maybe that's what I will do from now on, after a bad day in the bay go wear out the tops in the pass. If your lucking 1 in 10 will be a sand trout.
