Default 6-4-13 It was on

Hit the water by 7 and proceeded to have some fun. Had two buddies with me and we had a great day. Didnt even have time to stop fo lunch. One of the reds broke me off and about 10 min later my buddy hooked a red and sure enough ot had my hook in its mouth. They hit everything we threw. Live shrimp, dead shrimp, croaker, pogey, artificial. Had to rearrange the ice chest several times and needed up with our drinks and snacks in a bucket but it was all worth it. Ended with 44 trout and 11 reds. Had numerous pop offs and throw backs.

We were in a boat at Holly Beach. Started at the 2nd set of rocks on the eastern side, made it to the fifth set before we ran into the fish. I was fishing top water at first w/o any luck. Switched over to a popping cork w/ some live shrimp and it was every cast. Bite died and we pulled up anchor. Switched over to a sand eel for the rest of the day and picked up a couple of fish at each set of rocks we came to.

Really fun day, thanks again for the invite buddy.

Nah, there were three of us in Austin's boat. Not sure what color his boat is, but I dont think its grey and blue. It's a 17 footer in need of a bigger ice chest!!

Just saw that I had put the rocks on the western side, it was the eastern side.
