Default Rainbow Trout

Just a lil heads up To anyone in the B.R. area who has kids or grand kids or who may just want to catch a few rainbow trout.
After the first of the year BREC will be stocking 2 of the local ponds here in B.R. w/ rainbow trout.
One pond is open from day light till dark 7 days a week and the other is smaller and usually open only sat. for 4 or 5 hrs.
As soon as i hear of the actuall stocking date i will let everyone know.
The trout can be caught on small flies and also on hillbilly flies (niblets corn). Light line 4 - 6 lb test is best on ultra light gear.
The limit is 4 pp pd. Most of the fish or 8 to 10 " long and they eat very well. all you need is a Louisiana fresh water license to fish for the trout.
