Default ? about West Cove

Coming out of West Cove Canal turning right there is a big canal that goes back to hit 27.
What is the name of it? or is there really no name? and is it pretty safe to run all over west cove? any obstructions?

Thanks ahead of time

Not sure I understand this??? If you launch at west cove launch and run east, there is a canal that runs back in the marsh on the right. If you pass it and keep running you'll hit west cove.

Yes, if that's what he's talking about. Good fishing at times. Also runs up into marsh, private and refuge and gets shallow. Running the lake I've never had a problem but I run a small boat with a 40.

I wouldn't mess around with the north cut going into the ship channel on low tide. It gets SHALLOW.

During the winter, with a good North wind.....there are some shallow reef south of Rabbit island and the north cut connecting to the ship channel.

Or the same conditions can happen on a really low tide.
