It is. Skeeters are slow, we run Bullets. My uncles Bullet hit 92 with a 225 Merc Pro Max and its a 1998...Brothers hit 90 with a 225 Evinrude and its a 1996. Both look sweet.

Keep in mind it is a regular fuel injected vmax,not a hpdi. They are much easier to mod.

My buddys got a 250 punched to a 280 on a 02, 2200 pathfinder, and it flat out gets it, 68 light 65 loaded all day

Nice...I love the pre-hpdi vmax motors. Just putting the hydrotech exhaust tuner gains close to 20 hp. They are really choked off from the factory. The hydrotech sounds bad to the bone too.
