FlagUS Nice day to be on the water

Went to the Black Bayou area out of Amelia today. Not much to report. Had a nice day fishing with Dad and watching several dozen Bald Eagles. We had a good time but only ended up with 1 - 3lb. bass and 3 - medium sized saccalait. All caught on purple and chartreuse tube jig.

FlagUS

It must be working pretty good. We saw some very large mature birds all the way down to a good many smaller immature eagles. They didn't seem to be very afraid of us, we were able get within about 30 yards of many of them.
